What can you do as a change agent to manifest change in an organization to make it better. This is where Appreciative Inquiry comes into play. You do need to explore the threats and challenges to the organization, but Appreciative Inquiry asks you to analyze the strengths, the positive aspects of the organization, and how you can leverage those to maximize the strengths.
Explore the dynamics of complex adaptive systems theory and organic behavior to see how your organization mirrors those dynamics, or lacks them. What are the points of leverage, the places of improvement that could maximize change. What are the transformative change factors and dynamics in your (complex) organization?
Discuss how your findings support or differ from theories related to CAS. Imagine how and where, you, as the change agent, can get the organization to change, to adapt to the changing internal and external environment.
